Stocks and Shares of Warren Buffett

September 9th, 2009 by Admin Leave a reply »

I come from a white collar family that is pretty financially aware and literate.  So, I’ve always known about investing, stocks and shares and that kind of thing.  My brother is an accountant but he gave that up to day trade.  Even though he makes his money pretty fast, this type of risk and the ups and downs are too much for me.  I’d much rather prefer the old fashion (and boring) strategy of buy and hold. I mean, after all, it is the method that Warren Buffett goes by.  And he is only the most successful investor in the world and worth billions of dollars.  It makes me laugh when I hear people like my brother say that that type of investing doesn’t work anymore.  I just like to see their bank account balance compared to Mr. Buffett’s.
