Colon Cleansing: Do it Naturally with a Balanced Diet

November 19th, 2009

When it comes to cleansing your colon or any other internal organ such as the liver the best and safest way to go is natural. The more natural and balanced it is the better. Most medical professionals will tell you the same. In fact they might even tell you that a procedure such colonic irrigation could potentially be dangerous and could lead to serious medical problems. The colon cleansing supplements may not be as invasive as colonic therapy but it is not altogether safe and it does very little in terms of keeping the colon health.
So what do we do when we feel constipated and bloated? If we eat a balanced diet of a lot of foods with fibers such as a variety of vegetables and fruits, moderate amounts of whole grains and nuts and keep the consumption of meat and dairy products to maybe to twice a week we will do much better. It is also crucial we get enough exercise and rest for the body to do its work of cleansing and repairing itself.
In my article” Colon Cleansing with an Occasional Vegan Diet” what I am really suggesting is something similar to the above.
