Oh, yes, in Traditional Witchcraft we believe in the importance of dreams. To dream or daydream of a private mental retreat, a special place such as your cottage in the woods, I think it is healthy. However, in general, dreams can only be dependably interpreted by the dreamer. That is because we each have slightly different understandings of the symbolism used in our own dreams. That means that books on how to interpret dreams are not especially useful. Nor are other people’s ideas about our dream. In my opinion, your dream could be a message or a learning environment created by our subconscious or a friendly spirit. It is extremely healthy and utilitarian. I encourage you to use the cottage as a place to go to when you meditate. The mind is remarkable, is it not?
