Where Do the British Buy Travel Insurance

Well it appears that quite a lot of Britons still buy travel insurance from the Post Office. Its slightly surprising but the world’s original postal service has actually survived into the 21st century. While other countries have given their good old PO’s fancy names and privatised them, or made them just franchises, in the UK the Post Office is – in fact still the GPO – although smaller villages and centres do have postal agencies.

Travel insurance is a good idea if you are heading over to Europe so check out the offers at the Post Office – you might be surprised!
